Welcome

It only took one comment thread for me to realize what needed to be done. A place to celebrate the Southeastern of the Southeastern Conference. A place for the blood feud that is Alabama-Auburn and the "We'll pretend to hate each other, but we are basically the same place" of Arkansas-Ole Miss. A place where Phil Fulmer remains eternally a fatass, no matter that he has beaten us more times than we have beaten him. He still loves the donuts. This is SEC Jorts.

Good luck Driver. I'll try to stay frequent. (Stupid job.)

I'm off to fight Birmingham traffic. Traffic in Birmingham is kind of like watching a Miss. State game. There's really no point and you just feel dirty afterwards.

Yeah, I hate Phil Phulmer too. Bastard.

And traffic in Birmingham isn't THAT bad...I mean...if you choose to live south of I-459 or down 280, you're pretty much just asking for it...

I've only driven through Birmingham once in my life - coming back to DC from three months in Houston. Towing a u-haul trailor in a Taurus during a torrential downpour. My opinion of driving there is tainted to say the least. But it's no Capitol Beltway.

William,

I'm sad to report I do indeed live south of I-459, and, get this, work on 280. The only solace is that I won an I-Pod off of the Colin Cowherd show on ESPN so I'm not forced to listen to WJOX and Finebaum ALL of the time.

(I also got a free trip to the Rose Bowl off of Cowherd. So I will not tolerate any bad mouthing of him.)

Don't you mean Colin Cowherditsomewhereelsefirst? Heh.

You're definitely begging for it, what with all the southness of your home and work. But, you have to do what you have to do. I made the switch to XM to get away from Finebaum and, wouldn't you know it, he was on XM, too. Like a damned cockroach that won't die!
